A natural
evolution
Ronchi di Manzano is located in Friuli, in North-East Italy, in the heart of the Colli Orientali. An area that, thanks to exposure and microclimate, represents one of the most prized wine-growing zones.
Here, in 1969, the winery was born, surrounded by its own vineyards.
A story carried on through seasons and generations, until the start of a new path: between tradition and future.
The “ronchi,” that is, the vineyards immersed in the hilly landscape, lie on a very particular soil: “ponca,” a stratification of marl and sandstone dating back millions of years, rich in mineral salts and with natural drainage that guarantees ideal ripening and a strong wine identity.
Cultivating harmony
Continuing a local tradition dating back to Roman times, at Ronchi di Manzano, alongside the vineyards, olive trees are also cultivated, with Bianchera and Leccino varieties. A feature that contributes to environmental biodiversity, soil stability and the creation of an ideal microclimate.

of our land
The winery is the vital core of the Ronchi di Manzano estate. Carved into the hill and developed on two underground levels, it is a unique work of its kind. Inside, clad in rock and bricks according to ancient tradition, an evocative barrel room opens with casks of different sizes, followed by an area dedicated to vinification and aging.
